Fintech Innovation Challenge

Jaime Amoedo, Executive Director and co-founder of The ESG Institute was invited to join the panel of judges at the 2023 Fintech Innovation Challenge. With 14 incredible finalists from across the globe, the event was a testament to the innovative spirit and transformative power of FinTech!.

The challenge was opened with speeches from Hon Tim Johnston MHK (Minister for Enterprise), Lyle Wraxall (CEO, Digital Isle of Man), Ros Lynch (Head of Supervisory Practices and Innovation Strategy, Isle of Man Financial Services Authority), and Kurt Roosen (Head of Innovation, Digital Isle of Man).

We then had a great speech from Stephen Ingledew OBE (Chairman of FinTech Scotland) on embracing FinTech innovation.

There were 4 Challenge Statements covering 4 topics: Digital identity management, e-KYC, Compliance & transaction monitoring and Wildcard.
